Susan Stout Mullineaux


Managing Partner, Mullineaux Management

Susan is Managing Partner of Mullineaux Management, a management consulting and executive education firm established in 1997.  The firm focuses on leadership development, strategic planning, executive coaching, and client relationship strategies.  Clients have included academic and learning organizations, national associations, small businesses, health care organizations, and financial institutions in the United States and abroad.  

Susan held a variety of leadership roles during a 15-year career in financial services.  Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President of Retail Banking for Bank One Kentucky (now Chase) where she was responsible for their banking centers, three community banks, consumer lending, private banking, mortgage, brokerage, sales management and marketing functions.   

After attending the Krannert School of Management and graduating from Purdue University, she has participated in numerous leadership development programs including the Darden Graduate School at the University of Virginia.  Susan has served on the faculty of the International Banking Summer School, the Pacific Rim Bankers Program, the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado, the American Bankers Stonier Graduate School of Banking, the Essentials of Bank Marketing School, the Kentucky Bankers School, the Maryland Bankers School, and the Southeastern Bankers’ School.  She is a certified administrator and executive coach for the quality leadership assessment instruments of the Center for Creative Learning and The Leadership Challenge.  She also is a facilitator for The Marketing Game!, an interactive marketing simulation exercise used in various MBA programs in the United States. Susan serves on the patient advisory council of the Markey Cancer Center and on the board of OperaLex
